- Applicants must be international students. Note: The scholarship is intended for international students who are non-Indonesian citizens and hold a foreign passport.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Science, or related disciplines).
- Meet the academic and English proficiency requirements of UGM (bachelor’s degree CGPA of 3.25 (out of 4) and TOEFL of min 550 or equivalent).
- Demonstrate strong motivation and academic excellence.
- Two confidential recommendations written by two individuals (nominated by the applicant) who are well acquainted with the applicant’s previous educational endeavors, such as their academic supervisors or other authorities, including the applicant’s employer.
- Research proposal expressing applicants’ research interest.
The award provides support for up to 2 years Master Program including:
- Tuition fees
- Monthly stipend of IDR 4,000,000 (Typical monthly living cost in Yogyakarta: IDR 2,500,000)
- One-time round-trip airfare grant up to IDR 15,000,000
- Visa fees
- Health insurance
