ADMISSION

There are several differences in registration requirements for the Mechanical Engineering Masters Study Program with the other General Study Program Registration requirements, namely numbers 5 and 6. Following is an explanation of the registration requirements for the Mechanical Engineering Doctoral Study Program:

  • Applicants who meet the requirements can apply to become doctoral program participants in the same field of study as their field of study
1.Having the latest color photographs with a white background, dressed formally with a face facing the camera.

Having a Master diploma certificate (specifically for certain study programs; contact the Study Program for more information), or a photocopy of a certified diploma.

  1. Graduation Certificate (SKL) is not valid.
  2. Graduation Certificate (SKL) is not valid.
    Special applicants for overseas graduates must have a diploma equalization document from DIKTI.

Having original value transcripts or photocopies of legalized transcripts, with GPA S2 as follows:

  1. ≥ 3.00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants graduating from A accredited study programs, or;
  2. ≥ 3.25 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants graduating from B accredited study programs, or;
  3. ≥ 3,50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who graduated from an C accredited study program.

Having a certificate of study program accreditation at the last level of education. The intended study program accreditation is the current accreditation and is proven by a scan of the accreditation certificate or the accreditation print screen from the BAN-PT website that is still valid. The Study Program whose accreditation is in the process of being extended, is evidenced by a receipt for the submission of accreditation forms to DIKTI. Specifically for applicants from abroad, the proof of accreditation is the Declaration of Overseas Diplomas from DIKT

If the accreditation document is invalid, it will not be processed further

Certificate of valid English proficiency test results (maximum 2 years from the date the certificate is issued). The committee only accepts English test results:

7.Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know prospective students at an earlier level of education. Academic Supervisors and / or other persons deemed authorized, for example the workplace supervisor of prospective students. A link to provide recommendations online will be sent by the UGM UM Committee to the recommendation giver via email. Make sure the recommender's e-mail address is a valid and active e-mail address.
8.Having Health certificate from a Health Service Facility (Hospital, Puskesmas, or Public / Private Clinic) that has a permit from the Government
9.

Having Special Requirements:

  1. Projection of the wishes of prospective students to join the program (format can be downloaded here).
  2. Thesis research proposal / essay writing / other special requirements required by the study program do not need to be uploaded but sent directly to the study program destination completed with a photocopy of proof of list

Having Study permit / assignment from the workplace agency for applicants who are already working (format can be downloaded here)
